Default can I turn a plate into a hat? and get it to move and stay on the head - 09-29-2016, 04:45 PM

can I turn a plate into a hat? and get it to move and stay on the head. I have been trying to get a woman to go across the screen wearing a dish as a hat. I have tried to drive the plate to stay on her head but it won't work? can i make the hat follow her head?
thanks

Set the parent of the person to the plate in the properties tab of the plate object.

Stuff + Other Stuff + Different Other Stuff = Things :)

My best Alice game:

Clash of the Cubes (an arena fighting game):

I think this is backwards. You should set the parent of the plate to the person. Then whenever the person moves so will the plate.

Or better yet, make the person's head the parent so it follows head movements. The head already follows the body.
