character speaks popup not appearing in webpage

When I save my world as a webpage, the "character says" text popups do not appear, as well, sounds do not play. What is that all about?

The export as webpage feature is very, very buggy. It's kind of a miracle that it even runs, much less runs like that.

My advice: If it's a movie, use a screen capture program (or Alice 2.2b) to make it into a movie, then embed the movie into your webpage. If it's a game, make the file downloadable, with a link to the Alice site and instructions to dowload Alice.
