No... I can't even find alice.exe. I can only find alice

Aahh, but can you see the extensions of any files? If not then you just have extensions hidden under folder options and if so then alice.exe is not missing.

I tried that and when i look up alice.exe in the start menu just alice pops up and it doesn't work

Alice 2.0 works fine but 2.2 doesn't... Why?

You could always try a different fold to put it in when you redownload it? sorry for such a weak suggestion but I don't know to much about it.
