how would i make a jetpack motion in my fps?

Exclamation how would i make a jetpack motion in my fps? - 06-02-2013, 10:54 AM

Im trying to make the jetpack motion like in halo reach with the jetpack. i want it be like this

when a key is pressed the camera moves up and then when the key is let go the camera falls back down to the ground.

i need fora fps game

Make a new "when key is typed" event, then right-click it to change it to a "while key is pressed" event. This will let you put the upward motion in the "During" part of the event, and the downward motion in the "After" part.

Here's an example world. It shows how to get a character moving up as long as the J key is held, and when it is released, falling to the ground.

The falling can also be interrupted by pressing the J key again.
