Well, yes, actually, but it's somewhat unconventional. What I do is I make a world and add a square. I also change the camera's horizontal viewing angle from the default 0.67 to 0.5, so the screen is square. Next, I make the square object line up with the edges of the camera, and set the emissiveColor property of that square to white. Make sure you get it as close to the camera as possible. Vehicle the square to the camera. Now, you can import any object into the world, and set the texture of the square to be the texture of the desired object. Press play, and then Take Picture.

to get the actual texture, just use 7-zip to extract the object and copy the texture from that object from the file it creates, havent tried it yet, but should work

If you are stuck on a project, check out the tutorials I made here at this link:

I think this works. (At least it did for me):

Right-click and click save object. In the save dialog, remove the .a2c extension (for Alice object) and instead of saving it in the .a2c it will create a folder. In this folder, you will be able to see the internal object files. One of the folders in this folder is the texture folder. The texture is in there.

I randomly did this when I accidentally deleted the extension and I was able to find the texture.

I realized this by accident when I was trying to save a model from a world but forgot the .a2c extention

There's two folders named texture. The one with the / is the right one.

When I try to delete the file extension, it becomes a file instead of a folder.

EDIT: Never mind, it works! Thanks guys.

I think you will be happy to see my new feature coming to Alice soon. Part of a whole load of things I have done includes adding the ability to directly save a texture to file with ease!
texture tools.jpg
Everything in that menu is 100% functional now, I'm just waiting to release it with the rest.
To use just click on the menu option in the picture, then ...
DnDtexTosave.jpg
Go to the object and drag in a texture from it, then...
savetextofile.jpg
Simply save it anywhere, you wont even have to convert the file afterwards because you can choose from several useful formats to save as.

This has exactly the same results as the methods in the other posts above, except its a lot more convenient and simple.

Coming soon, look out for it .

I have mostly moved on from Alice, but may still respond to messages if important [¬º-°]¬
