getDistanceTo functions

This is my first post and I apologize if I am doing this improperly.
My question is about the obj.getDistanceToTheLeftOf(obj2) and obj.getDistanceToTheRightOf(obj2) functions in Alice 3.0. In Alice 2.2, I think these functions return the difference between object bounding boxes. In Alice 3.0 (specifically 3.0.0.2.9) it appears that the functions return the difference between obj2’s position and obj’s bounding box. Is it possible to obtain verification or correction?
