Camera Angle Help

Dear seniors,

I am new to this alice software. Recently, I was tasked to create a car accident scene.

For me, it's Rebecca Black who stole her Dad's car then got into an accident.

However, when my camera shifts to the next scenes, there are many unnecessary camera movements.

Is it possible for my scene to jump to next scene (without camera movements) or can anyone help me in the camera angles to make the transition smooth? I used cones as guide for the camera.

I'm thinking of using camera constrain function.. but I'm not sure how can I approach this problem. Are my codes messy as well?

When you move your cameras to other positions, you could set the "duration" property of the "move camera" function to zero seconds if you want the camera to move to the next scene instantly.

If you want the camera to rotate around "the scene", you could use the "turn camera" function and under the "more" menu, set the "asSeenBy" property to the object that you want the camera to rotate around (such as the center object of the scene.)

You could change the "style" of the camera's methods under the "more" menu to "abrupt" if you want the camera to move smoothly (I know it sounds counter-intuitive, but it makes sense.)

If you want the camera to "follow" an object, go to the camera's properties and set the "vehicle" property to the object that you want the camera to follow.

This is all the advice on camera's I can think of right now. Let me know if you have any questions.

The scenes are more smooth now. Also, I was able to achieve 'scene transition'.

LOL, that was funny! My animation uses Rebecca Black too. Sadly, she will die in my car accident.
