Default Bumper car problems - 07-22-2008, 08:40 PM

before anyone gets mad i'm not asking for the answer to my homework just a little guidance in the right direction. I'm having a couple of problems making a bumper car animation work.
1. I can't get the on button to make it run until i hit the off button
the on button will either run it once or a set #/infinity times
at that point the off button does nothing even though it's set to stop it.

Any (quick!) help would be greatly appreciated.

The on button could be sort of a title screen just make your worlds first method default (No Commands)... Somthing Like This

If mouse is clicked on Button Unpressed than do World Method 2
If mouse is clicked on Button Pressed than do world Neutral Method

You may need to have 2 Buttons for this to work

I recomend using a paint program to make an unpressed button image and a pressed button image

If you are using the two button switch from the library, I remember it is a bit hard to get a mouse click on the buttons to register correctly. Unfortunately, I don't remember why, and there doesn't seem to be anything in the forum on the problem.

You might try changing the orientation of the switch some and see if that helps - otherwise just use two buttons as suggested in the previous post.
