There is nothing wrong with Windows 8. With Arty's complex work, possibly, but it works fine for me. There are a few bugs here and there and driver issues but other than that, it functions similar to Windows 7.
Eh. It adds nothing new to windows apart from a start menu that you will never use |

It is 10x faster. They fixed a lot of problems that Windows 7 had. It starts up in half the time and the desktop now loads instantly instead of in previous windows versions (7) where it took another minute to full initiate. Anyway what kind of GPU do you have in your computer?
From personal experience, it runs much faster than Windows 7. If you had issues with it and had boot up problems, sorry. I have duel video cards, but they are only GTX 550's. My computer is very powerful, but Windows 8 is fast on way slower computers as well. It's a new operating system so they fixed many issues. Yes, it does have compatibility issues, but it all depends on what you are doing. Composing, Adobe software, Autodesk, and other high end software that I use runs perfectly fine so I'm glad I switched. Plus, they are releasing updates. |
