Looks cool. Are you going to sell this, if so how much?
You inspired me there, so I learnt Java today (not everything, but enough to do some basic stuff), it wasn't hard since I've been working in Jython and JavaScript for so long. Now I'm learning how to program for Android.
Corona SDK is rather pricey, so I'm just using Eclipse, PhotoFiltre, GIMP, Audacity and Notepad++ (All of which I already had, so I just needed the extra plugins).

Probably a buck. That's the minimum price for apps, I thought. It's my first game, so I'd like to get my foot in the door with something simple, cheap, and frivolously entertaining.

How are you going to publish your games? The point of getting corona for me was to combine the publishing and simulation into one piece of software. I don't know the rules for Android, but I know you have to pay Apple for the privilege to publish apps to the App Store.

The plugin for Eclipse was developed by Google, so it has to be simple. I'm sure it is much easier to use Corona, but I don't have a spare $199 per year lying around, but $25 is fine for me. That's why all the software I'm using is free.

Huh. Are there any built-in functions, like a physics engine or image masking?
Huh. Are there any built-in functions, like a physics engine or image masking?
Not too sure, as I said, I've just started learning via Youtube yesterday. I do know that since it is Java there are lots of free engines etc available all over the internet. Anyway, I know its probably much easier via Corona, just more expensive.

Hey if you can find a cheaper way to do it, power to you. Corona was just the first thing I found and it seemed to work nicely. The price and duration are terrible, but the developer support and tools provided are top notch.

Since I posted that screenshot of the Gatling Good game I've added:

-music
-sound effects
-a nighttime zombie survival mode
-a giant tank
-a fighter who shoots hadokens
-a gory mode
-and a method that recognizes when enemies and projectiles hit you and subtracts from your health accordingly

Some good stuff there.

Glad you feel that way. Hopefully at least 200 other people will share your sentiments.

Also, I just realized the last item on that list was the least complete, but also the most game-vital. That's me. Sticking bells and whistles on first, nuts and bolts second.

200 people? btw, X, can you play Halo 2? I haven't gotten that many views for some reason.

If you need any more images, just send me a PM. Also I was wondering if you liked my design.
