Can you export it to, say, Gimp?
Yes. There are three ways of doing that (they are less complicated than these descriptions may make them seem): A. By changing your default editor

Make Gimp your default image editing program
B. By using the feature designed for this

Use "Edit Texture in External Application" as before.
When paint opens, close it.
In the popup window in Alice, click the "Copy Path" button.
Open Gimp and use File > Open (or CTRL+O).
Click the little icon in the top left that has a pencil on paper.
Paste in the text (CTRL+V) into the Location bar that is now visible.
Finally press the ENTER key to open it.
Edit the image, save it and then click the "Done" button in Alice, as before.
C. By exporting, editing and importing again

Use "Save Texture Image to File".
Save to a memorable location.
Open up the file in Gimp and edit as you wish.
Use "Replace Texture Image From File".
Find the image file.
Options A and B create a temporary file that deletes itsef, this method doesn't, so you may wish to delete the image file after use.
|
Ok, thanks.

New mod - Alicedoc
I've made a new mod, Alicedoc.
Read its description at the top, its not particularly exciting, but its really useful. I will be adding Alicedocs to my tool objects, like the Save Tool, to make them easier to use, so I advise installing this mod even if you don't want to personally use it. |
I'm surprised to see you are still active on these forums Arty. It's awesome that you are still improving Alice past it's initial stages.

Fixed Stuff
Fixed a bunch of warnings and errors under the hood on every mod.

Auto Update Mods should update automagically. One of them might claim the download is corrupt, it isn't, just click "install anyway". Manual/Fresh Install Or you can get the latest mods via the Alice Launcher: open it, click on "Mods" tab, click on "Store" sub-tab. For some reason there are three "Play Fullscreen" mods showing there, just install the one that is version 1.2. Installations might also claim the download is corrupt, they are lying, just click "install anyway". Really-Manual Install I might update the download links earlier on in this thread later. |
