I need this converted!!!!!!!
I NEED THIS CONVERTED ASAP!!!!
IT IS CRITICAL TO MY CoD: Zombies GAME!!! http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/details?mid=dd9c4fb2d6596977c178d8b4df5d4eeb&prevstart=0 AND I NEED THESE CONVERTED TOO!!! I ASKED DEBUSS BUT HE HASN'T BEEN ONLINE LATELY!! http://alice.org/community/showthread.php?t=6275 |
learn to convert on your own, it isn't that difficult, X made a really easy guide to follow along with a video on how too (instead of just waiting around for someone else to do it,take the initiative to do it yourself)
Could you please just do it. I don't have the time because i'm working on CoD: Zombies.
AND I've got ANOTHER problem...im trying to get alice to play sound but it wont work. Any suggestions? EDIT: "I've got ANOTHER problem...im trying to get alice to play sound but it wont work. Any suggestions?" media.io PROBLEM SOLVED CONVERT TO WAV |
convert it to a .wav file, and usually any sound file over 1 minute causes a lot of problems, and I don't convert models besides my own anymore, converting is incredibly boring and if the person doesnt like it, you usually get crap for it, so usually better to do it on your own
*looks in New Posts*
*Sees this thread* *Enters thread* Converting seems easy enough. *Sees Google Sketchup* *leaves thread with this link: http://www.alice.org/community/showthread.php?t=3411 and these three words: "Do it yourself."* |
WAV files are WAAAAAAAAAY too big and alice can't save after i import them...so
BACK TO ORIGINAL PROBLEM How do i get alice to play mp3s? |
World > Properties > Sound > Import Sound Files
Alice plays both Wav and Mp3 Drag the sound into a method, and it will play when the method comes up. |
when i import a mp3 file alice makes a static sound then stops playing it.
Your file is corrupted. Try re-importing it.
ok
EDIT: Still no luck |
Play your file in Windows Media Player.
It works in that
other members have this problem as well, you'll more than likely have to re install alice
You need to update.

Convert it to a .obj file through sketchup
you cant, only .dae or .kmz |
help!?!?
just watch my tutorial on how to do it, I talk through every step of how to do it. it's the top of my list in my tutorial list
You can't do that in sketchup. In order to open a Colloda file you can't open it in the conventional way. You must import it instead.
I already said that haha |
Oh sorry sfunk I must have posted after you and not have realized it.:o
Now iua, that sound file is much too long for Alice, and even if it weren't you must understand this, Alice has difficulty with mp3 files and some it can read others it can not, ask Mr Kidnapper as to why this is so, while .wav files are uncompressed sound files and thus larger, but I suppose "easier" for Alice to read. |
it's all good, but as long as iua just watch my or X's tutorial on how to convert, he should be okay, and as long as he has the right version of blender
but thats my problem when i say import on blender it does nothing
I watched both sfunk and X's tutorials |
The object may have imported, but it is possible that it is just out of your view or is too large for the general area of Blender, look around for it.:)
i import the object but it has no color like before.
It does, you have to finish converting it and it will get it's color/texture back.
oh ok so export into biturn and save as .ase
well you have to understand, if it's textured, it will have no color, then you do everything in the video, then you have to import the texture packs
im confused
well it's really not that complicated, especially with all the tutorials made for it, if it has textures(looks like a picture is used to cover the objet) then more than likely the object was crappy and just covered to look nice, so just do all of the converting like in my video, and once you'll import the object into alice, you'll figure it out

I converted the song to a wav file after extracting it, but Alive won't save it. I think it might be the song itself. |
