What happens to files if you record a scene

1) Alice 3 seems to have an option to record scenes ad theres a flashing red light but I don't know what happens to the files which are recorded. Are they saved somewhere on the computer ? Not in the Project files ?

2) Can I import new models into Alice 3. I want to include a roller skater.

-----

After playing with Alice 2 for a bit I had a go at Java programming but I found the examples very uninspiring

I'm doing this for "pleasure" or at least theres no immediate need to learn a language. I don't work in computers. However, I enjoy tinkering with games and such and I have two young kids who I hope to encourage to take an interest in computing.

So I thought I would have a look at Alice 3 and

yes, it seems to work reasonably well. I do however have some questions because theres no manual.

I don't know about Alice 3, but in Alice 2.2, before you start to record a scene, Alice prompts you for a saving location.

Once again, I don't know about Alice 3, but in Alice 2.2 you can import new models. Click here if you need help doing this.
