I started on 3 different versions, before I settled on one. One of my ideas had to go because I couldn't figure out how to make it work or I would have had to spend too much time animating individual segments. In the end I went with something relatively simple in terms of animation, although it did take me a while to figure out how to make the jump random (the random up was not the same as the random down). After a bit of research I found a way to make it with a variable, so now the distance up and down are the same, and that figure is random between 1 and 3.5.

Had a bit of trouble making sure I didn't put too many boom boom sentences in there and ended up checking it a few times.
