I have decided to put up a thread asking what everyone is best at in alice. If you are an "IDK" than don't comment on this thread. Right now, I think my strong points are animations and scenery. I would like to know what everyone else is, because if I was to ask for help on Halo or any future games, I could put together a team with the strongest uses in Alice. For example, modeling, animation, codeing, etc...

I would like as many people as possible to comment. Use the Poll to.

I am terrible with alice (I don't even know what I am doing half the time because I don't have a textbook).

For me, I guess I'd have to say concepts and ideas. It doesn't take me too long to come up with a great idea, but it takes a while for me to try to implement it.

I never used a text book. Just keep working with it. Look at peoples code and learn like that. It just takes time. Thank you Kirby for your answer. I will take note and If I need you on a team, I will notify you(if I make a team and you are avalible).

I've also never had a textbook, I just worked it out and if I needed help I came here, same with any language I've learnt (except Prologue), usually I google for help for languages other than Alice.

I would say my strong point is scripting. As far as I can tell I am the only active member that does any serious jython in Alice.

Well I have gained a strong grasp on modeling with blender and sketchup, and I think I finally found a way to get perfect axis on objects(still trying to figure out texturing with blender, exporting it atleast)
