User Controlled Looping question

I am having trouble getting my loop to work for a repeated jump (or any other simple action), that is determined by user input. Basically, if the user put "3" into the field where they are asked for a number, the object would repeat its action 3 times. I cannot seem to get my loop to recognize the user input number, which makes it impossible for my loop to know when to stop. If anyone has a working example in here they don't mind sharing, that would be great. I am sure that is a lot easier than explaining.
