Yeah I know, but I am just working on the scenery or the lower section first. Then I will try to work on the cloud section and then on the drop pod and then the ship where you first get dropped from. There is going to be a lot that I will have to make and I won't be able to work on it on the weekends. : (

Why not? Got a job?

Also, I think it looks very good so far. Were you planning on adding sound to the movie as well, like voices and music, or were you going to stick with speech bubbles?

Yeah I work on weekends : ( Anyway, I am planning on adding sound to the movie. All of the voices and stuff will be there.

Another big thing I am going to do is film the entire film frame by frame and cut out the soldiers that are on the video screens in the cockpit. I will then put all of those pictures into alice and switch out the texture on the square so fast that it looks like the video is playing on that square. That is how I am going to make the video screen in the cockpit.

Believe it or not, I was considering something like that to simulate a tv playing a video. I'm looking forward to seeing how that turns out.

Also, I'd be grateful for your job if I were you. Nowadays you can consider yourself lucky if you're in college and you have one.

Lol, you can take it if you want. I'm not too fond of it.

I did a preliminary test to see what it would look like and it looks pretty cool. I was going to post it here, but I forgot to save it :P

I figured that I would do 5 or 10 frames per second. I am going to test out both thoroughly to see which one looks better. If I do that, it is about a 60 second scene (with the monitors on) so with 10 fps that will be 600 pictures per screen and there are 2 screens which comes to a grand total of 1200 pictures that I have to capture, crop, save, and add to the movie. Should be fun! I will also try 5 frames per second and see how that comes out. That will only be 600.... yes.... ONLY 600.

Alright, I did it again and decided to stick with 5 frames per second. 10 is way too much. The test is below.

I have been working on the lower section and am now pretty far along in making it look like the movie. Below is another picture. I am also going to edit the texture of the 2 ships to make it more like the one in the actual video. I will have to try and remember how I edited textures in War Zone 2 so that I can alter the textures. It's been a while... I will also make the ship bigger; I would right now, but I am really tired.

Man that is looking better and better. Are you going to be posting tutorials on how you got all this to work?

Eh I doubt it. This is going to take a while as it is, so adding a full tutorial for different sections is just going to complicate things. Especially since most of the movie is going to be trial and error. I would much rather stick with the traditional I-make-you-ask-questions-after-I'm-done philosophy. Lol. It's much easier.

If you have any questions along the way, I would be happy to answer them. Its what I do...
