I think in most instances animated gifs are disabled. While they can be tasteful, most are not. And based on what I see on other forums, the fewer flashing things the better.

I like simple ones, like my jediaction, thats what everyone thinks i look like just because thats what everyones seen. Just like X2495iiii looks like a penguin "not really". Im just saying, we recognize everyone by there avatar.
