How soon wil we be able to down load alice v3.0?
also can you download it free of charge?

I saw an answer to the cost question in another thread... version 3 will still be offered free of charge.

As for the release date for version 3, the press release CMU put out on March 10th said that, "Development for Alice 3.0 will begin immediately and will span the next 18 to 24 months."

You know how it is? If there are no funds to pay someone to do it, then find a PhD candidate to do it for free.

18 - 24 months seems about right for one PhD candidate to finish up Alice 3.0.

Of maybe it for fulfilling an MS requirement. Just speculating, of course.
