Default A New Shooter Idea - 08-08-2011, 03:01 PM

I just thought of this new shooter control scheme by combining my Mouse Cursor Experiment and some parts of my Tenkan Experiment
I have no idea what to make of it But I think this could turn out well


I think this thread may become a place for me to submit new ideas for shooters and games in the future.

Project Wyvern (concept)

Basically, Sky Warrior gameplay, but it also has vertical shooting sections. Not sure how well it'll work though...

I've been working on another type of stage a Sky Warrior game (or another shooter) could take place in.

At the moment, it is called the "Cyber-Dimension", taking place inside a computer network. The core wrapped in geometry is called "NONT" (at the moment) and the giant flying thing may or may not be called "E-Skater". Yes. The names are weird. I have reasons for calling them those names. Feel free to ask why!

Play the included music while running the world to get a better feel for what I wanted the level to be like. Yes. I am aware that the music is bigger than the world is.

I say you try a different take on game design. Maybe an RPG or an FPS. Sky Warrior gameplay does get kind of old after all...

Did you see the first game idea?

I've already tried making an FPS before. They never worked out. This thread has one of those attempts. (I think)
