Pass Variable from one Method to another

In my world, I am asking user for 2 variables, and am using two separate methods (call them Vari1 and Vari2) to obtain these numbers. How do I get these variables obtained to pass back to the main World Method so that I can use those numbers in my action sequences?

You can use a function instead of a method. A function is basically the same, but at the end you return a variable, ie. pass it back.
You would then have variable = Vari1 in the main method.

if i m not wrong u can make 2 world level variables and do anything u want

That's what I would do, but that's not good programming practice when it comes to learning Java.

ya u r right as i dont know much about java but if he wants it for class assignment then my suggestion would be easy for him and will work well in alice
