WTF are you doing on a Mac.

Everything looks/works exactly the same as it does in the video.

Cheers from Scotland!

Click here to read this post.

When I type www.aodb.webeden.co.uk into my address bar, the home page loads, but when I browse the site, and click home, this error message comes up. I also get this error message when I click on the link on your previous post.

This is the error message.:

Im not on a Mac, look closer and you will see.

Thanks for the feedback, you are using Google Chrome if I'm not mistaken, which I gathered from the browsers thread, that has always displayed it properly on all versions as far as I can tell.

I know that, and the reason I did that was because on my computer, you couldn't see the entire post because my error message photo was to big, so I decided to put a link to it in full screen so that way people that have the same problem I do can still read it.

Thumbs up latest updates and improvements - 04-20-2011, 01:30 PM

Here is an update on the latest improvements ive made to the AODb.

- Added a SARS rating column (still glitchy) to the worlds section.

- Added a more column in preparation for later.

- Reorganised all of the columns to make it easier to use (ie. title and image first).

- Added the original item post date in mini and light blue above the latest update date that was already there.

- Improved the html layout, page header and tags.

- Added support for CSS style sheets.

- Swapped the JavaScript to an external file instead of being all in the page header.

- Changed the style of textual hyperlinks to make them more readable.

- Changed the style of the download button.

- Added different download button text colours and extended mouseover labels to improve download link safety. I made AODb local download links have the standard AODb blue text. Filechimp links have green text and an extended mouseover label of "filechimp download". Other external download links or pages are red and expand to say "external download", they also open in a new tab.

- Added (hidden) preparations for liveView, which will enable previewing of objects in the web browser; this uses Alice's export as webpage function, except it actually works.

EDIT - Removed more... button on descriptions under 100 characters long that have no controls notes.

EDIT - Made item titles/names into hyperlinks that link to a solo view of the item in hand, later to be replaced by a new page just on that item.

I doubt you actually read all of that, so I will just say here - it is improved and being constantly further improved because I want it to be as useful, yet simple to use as possible.

Just so all of you know. I sometimes have trouble remembering to add that "webeden.co.uk" at the end of the AODb URL address, and I often just put, ".com." I don't know if this is an issue that any of you have had, but if it is, then fear not! I am proud to announce the new URL address that I have created for the AODb! Try typing, "www.aodb.webs.com" in, and watch in amazement as you are redirected to the real AODb website! You still have to remember the extra ".webs" in there, but it is somewhat easier to remember.

Well, there you go:
aodb.webeden.co.uk
aodb.webs.com
bit.ly/AODb
aodb.cz.cc
