Smile *** ~ Highest Quality Educational Sources for age 0-18 // et aliae ~ *** - 09-08-2011, 12:27 AM

for programming, I ran across

age ~7
http://scratch.mit.edu

age 10-13
http://www.alice.org/

14+
http://www.greenfoot.org

Where is the few best sources to find and get updated on educational software and sites such as the above, though not necessarily for programming.

In case someone here is highly experienced with the Web, please take care with what you post -- only top-notch quality source for educational software/sites.

for instance, www.khanacademy.org is for math (age 0-18) and is the best of the best out there currently.

How come I had never heard of this before? This is awesome ! I just spent 2 hours straight learning more about calculus in my free time; whereas I would normally be gaming, this makes a lot more sense than the way they taught me before and for some reason I actually enjoy doing it and don't want to fall asleep.

Now back for some more learning.

If I had known that you would like it, I would have told you about it as soon as I joined! I've known about it for years! :-P
