Sound "To Marker"s?

Default Sound "To Marker"s? - 03-31-2011, 11:44 PM

I see a "From Marker" and "To Marker" for sound effects, and I think they would be useful for a dynamic music system that I'm doing. However, I can't seem to figure out how to use these markers. I want a random piece from the calm music list to play, unless you're near an enemy. If so, then battle music will play. I originally had, while you are at least 30 meters away from any of the enemies, calm music would play. While you are within 30 meters of any of the enemies, battle music plays. However, it seems that the music doesn't want to change or stop until the piece has finished completely. Can anyone help?

I'm not too sure how well this will work but put a If/Else statement inside of an infinite loop and have the if say say:

If Character is within 30 meters of badGuy
world play sound battleMusic
Else
world play sound calmMusic

Made a slight mistake. The world can't play a sound Have and object, camera, ground or light play the sound

I'd rather not upload the actual project, because it's so big and complicated already, but i'll put that method into a seperate world and upload that.

I couldn't upload the project if I wanted to since the file size is so huge, so I threw together a little demonstration of what I did here with some of the same music that I'm using in the actual game.DynamicMusicDemo.a2w
