I need a 2 hour project for 8th graders

I am being tasked with hosting 10 8th graders for two hours. I would like to use Alice to have them create a game of some kind. I am not sure of the mix of males to females. Does anyone have any ideas of projects that take some explanation and then that students can work on fairly independently with me circulating? I know Java, but not very familiar with Alice.

Have you considered just having them do the tutorial. The time should be about right and you can always have them add something of their own to the finished project if they finish early.
