Mac OS X 10.5 Alice won't start

First a really minor bug. With Alice 2.0 version on the splash
screen is 2.0.7, but in the Mac header bar: About Alice is 2.0.4

Second, the major bug, Alice won't start.
Not the second time.

If I start Alice from the mounted disk image:
(Alice2.0.7_for_OX10.4.dmg) it starts. No problems.

Once I drag the package to the Applications directory it does not start.

Any help would be great.

Do software updates and see if there is a Java update in there. I am on 2.0 also and it says 2.0.7 on the header, but has been working. You may just need to leave it out of the application folder if all else fails, there is nothing special about the applications folder, it is just to organize the applications. Hope this helps!
