Default texture mapping - 08-26-2010, 08:17 PM

I have an object I have imported in to Alice and I am having trouble with getting the opacity map to render, and I don't know how to add a normal map (which I think would be common).

You can combine the opacity, normal, and texture maps in a photo editor, though with a see thru window, the ship's inner parts are transparent. I compensated with a geometric shape resized to match the ship's inside.

Hey, I don't know if anyone else found this or will find this useful, but opacity maps are supported by Alice. They can be applied in the seldom used properties of the object, the same way a texture can be. I'm not entirely sure it works properly, as my tests didn't seem to work, but the option is there.
