Unhappy General Discussions - 09-23-2006, 07:51 PM

I'd propose that discussions not related to a specific thread's questions or answers go here, not in the other thread - the recent one re what code should be posted being an example.

It's hard enough to find something specific in the forums as is.

I'll abide by that.

I propose that the Students' Lounge be left to the STUDENTS. And WE stay out.

Default Maybe Two Threads? - 09-24-2006, 12:49 PM

I thought of that but think MrNemo is a student - how would we do without him?

LanceA - why don't you start a second (or an alternate) thread where you think it's best. All I would really like to do is to be able to know from the forum title what is going on in the forum - don't want to cut down or limit any discussions.

Jim

(by the way, Mr. Nemo - note that I added the reason for editing. I was impressed that you listed grammer on one of your posts.)

Thanks, I hate it when I make spelling or grammar mistakes. Let's just say I use the [Backspace] key... a lot.

Thumbs up Panda3D - 09-25-2006, 10:15 PM

Taking this discussion in a completely different direction... I was over at the Panda3D site watching some of the clips in their video gallery. My favorite is the short movie Keepsake. The following link will take you right to their video gallery. http://www.panda3d.org/videogallery.php
The reason I like it is because although it is interactive, the students who made this managed to blend both the interactive and movie clips that are shown seamlessly, even including the visceral punch that anime is known for... I've got to get the film this is based on.

I've changed the focus of this subforum just a bit...see this post for details.
