Smile Tuxedo Battle - 08-25-2011, 02:23 PM

This is a fighting game I made, it's the first game I've made with alice that isn't a flight sim...It's 2P, has working health, a timer, both players have 3 special abilities, Fire ball, super punch(series of quick punches), spin kick.
Theres animations for everything except for walking, at the moment you just slide when you walk, im working on a walk animation, i tried to make one earlier, but it didn't work well o.o

P1 Controls: W-Jump, S-Duck, A-Backup, D-Forward, Q-Kick, E-Punch, F-Fireball, C-Spin Kick, X-Super Punch.

P2 Controls: I-Jump,K-Duck,J-Backup, L-Forward, O-Kick, U-Punch, H-Fireball N-Spin Kick, M-Super Punch.

You have a time limit of 2min to defeat the other player.

The "Story"...You have a magical tuxedo that lets you jump high, shoot fireballs and more. You got in a argument with another guy who had a magical tuxedo about who's tux is the best magical tux. So you both decided to put your tuxes to the test to see whos is the best.
The winner has the best magical tux of all time :D

This game was made with Alice 2.0

How-To:turning on/off AI:
Find "when world starts do[world.AI]" and enable it for AI and disable for no AI.

V2.1- Added AI-- http://www.mediafire.com/?q5ms61ywlb6u64p

v2.2- Fixed crashing issue, fix fireball(now does dammage when it goes through the player), new lightweight health bars- http://www.mediafire.com/?i9318ni1d0u8gi2

NEWST=>v2.3- Menus/Credits/More maps/MUCH better AI, and harder to beat o.o, Find "when world starts do world.AI" and disable/enable to turn it on or off-- http://www.mediafire.com/?f3wh6vrkjor0y6i

I played it through, sound good, don't worry to much about walking. Nice backround. A little jerky with the attacks but there are 2 ways to make attacks.
Poses or block animation. I use poses because it saves time for me to work on gameplay. I made alice Clash, check it out if you want.

The controls are a bit awkward. You should change the fireball attack so that it can hurt the opponent if it passes through them.

Thank you for taking the time to read this signature. This signature loves you.

Uploaded a new version, has menus which are, credits, start, and map selection. I made 5 new maps so now you can choose a map after clicking start. The maps no longer have 3d objects in the background(fixed lag)...I made the maps with 3d objects, took a screenshot, did a little lighting tricks, and now i have some low-poly maps that look like normal 3d objects, but are just planes

I also have some problems with alice ocasionally freezing up while playing it, i don't know if it's just from my school laptop getting extremly hot(which happens all the time when using alice) and it being a old laptop, or if its the program...Can anyone test it and tell me if they have any problems with it freezing? Need to know if i need to change the code a bit...Going to be turning this in for my final exam soon.
