Other than having a character "say" the variable

I don't think anyone knows how. Alice 3 has no tutorials, and I have spent hours trying to figure it out, it just is not worth working with yet. There is no undo and it is buggy.

Like jedi said, I don't think there is a print function, and the only way is to have someone say it.

I have found that there are too many problems and bugs with Alice 3.0. I think the Alice 3.0 have no option to delete items from the list and the tutorials or tips for Alice 3.0 is also not available anywhere. So I have decided to go back to the old Alice 2.2 version which is far better than this new version. Would there be some problem with the new version if we try it with vCloud API. I think this is the experience of all those who have tried Alice 3.0. So I don’t think anyone can find a solution for you to print the value of a variable in Alice 3.0. Just return to the older version. I often follow many twitter accounts like , Alice community, amazon etc, which helps me to stay updated.That’s my suggestion.
