Download Images

I have downloaded the Alice program for my daughter to work with but I can't get the additional images to download correctly. I have saved the zip files but not sure how to open and where to get the images into the program. Any help?

Most of the web gallery objects can be accessed through the program without having to download them.

1. Within Alice, click on the Add Objects button in the world window.
2. In the gallery thumbnails at the bottom, click on the "home" navigational link.
3. Click on the Web Gallery thumbnail.

If you want to add the objects you downloaded because you have a slow internet connection, follow these instructions.

I had the same problem. Gabe suggested that you simply eliminate the .zip extension and it should work. That way you can download the files (on a faster machine), save them to a CD or whatever and then put them in there respective gallery folder. It worked for me. Thanks again Gabe.

change the zip file to a2c or leave blank? sorry for all the questions just trying to make this work. thanks

Rename the zip extension to a2c.
