Default Alice 3.1: reusing and sharing code - 10-10-2012, 04:44 PM

Is that possible to write a code in Alice 3.1 which can be detached, used in other projects and shared? A concept of library or so. Even if it is export of a method and then import of it into a different project, that can be as useful (if not that easy). Thanks in advance for your answers.

I'm not sure if this works in alice 3, but in alice 2 you can make methods and events native to an object and then save the object.

Come on, you know you want to try it.

No shared/reusable code in Alice 3?? That's sad.

Does that mean I'll have to back off Alice 3 with more "traditional" language approach, and go to to Alice 2? That's rather sad...
Is there a purpose, anyway, for such language restrictions? I know it's been developed for educational needs, so it might encourage or even force the development 'from scratch'. But, that also limits ability for collaboration. So, should we expect those 'library' tools to develop, or it's never going to happen?
