Default Number being a little too exact? - 03-02-2010, 10:02 PM

For one of the games i am making, a have a timer that counts up from zero and stops whenever a certai nevent happens etc. It works fine, but i wanted it to go to 2 decimal places, and i forgot about loss of precision. Is there anyway to get rid of all those zeros at the end or do i have to hide them off screen?

There's a rounding function under the world's function list which allows you to round a number to the nearest integer.

Nope, but you can multiply it by 100, round it, then divide it by 100 again.

It would look something like this:

(round(x*10))/10

so, if x was 2.6453, it would return 2.6.

or if you want to round it to like 10, or 32, or 54 etc.
just use random number maxiumum world.score and minimum world.score, integeronly=TRUE.duration 0secs
