I can still see the difference in color of the background. Just to let you know, some (and not all) image formats support transparent backgrounds. You probably had your image in a format that didn't support transparent backgrounds hence the default white background. I believe .png files fully support transparent backgrounds. So, if you want to, you can go back to whatever imaging editing software you use (I like GIMP), erase the background color you have now (this is different than coloring it white now, even though the effect might look the same in the editing software), and save your file as a .png. This should work.

Of course, the background you have now is REALLY close, so you can just leave it if you don't want to go through hassle of changing it. =P

Projects
-Escape the Kitchen
-That ninja animation

Upcoming Projects

Im confused - the original edition does have a transparent background, I didn't understand why you ever changed it.

He changed it because the original edition does have a transparent background, but the forum avatar software replaces it with a black background if it doesn't see a background, so he had to change it to the closest color match.

Actually, I think he did it himself. He made the background the color of the forums instead of making it transparent.

That's exactly what I was hoping this avatar would represent! Although I am not offended, I wish Jones explained why he said "No" on the poll.

Again, that's what I was hoping for.

What happened was the original avatar had a transparent background (the file WAS a .png), and I saved it as a .png. Upon uploading it to the Alice Community Forums, it added a white background that made it look ugly, so I added the black background, and uploaded it. Afterwards, I created this thread, and someone mentioned the idea of matching the background color of the Alice Community Forums to the background color of the avatar. (I don't remember WHO mentioned it, but someone did.) I did, and I uploaded it, and somewhere along the way, the color got mismatched.

Hopefully this solves all of this...
