Need help with reaction time

Any one know how to make a elapsed timer that accurate to milsecond ? I want to make a timer that like when I press a button "start" an object will move and when i press "end" the object will stop and will say the time elapsed between it move and when I press "end". I need help cause I will submit the project next Monday

I'll tell you this: Make a number variable that is set to 0. Make it so that after the Start button is pressed as long as the End button isn't pressed, wait 0.001 seconds, then have the variable set its value to itself plus 0.001. I think you can figure out the rest yourself, but if you can't then just post and say so.
