Zombie Survival FPS with Ragdoll Physics

Default Zombie Survival FPS with Ragdoll Physics - 06-11-2011, 11:44 AM

I'm thinking about making a Zombie First Person Shooter game with the whole doors and things like that. But I think that I'm going to have realistic deaths on the zombies. I call it 'Ragdoll Physics' because some of the Physics will be about ragdolling but I'm also going to make it so that if you shoot a zombie in the shoulder his arm will pop off or if you shoot his neck his head will tumble off. The zombies won't just randomly attack at you either. They'll have AI patterns etc.

I often use invisible cubes in order to trigger different AI patterns and other methods like moving up stairs etc.

Just an idea. So would you guys play this game if I made it? Or has Alice community come out with too much Zombie FPS games...

I tried making a zombie game. Physics with Alice is very hard and pushes the capability of alice to the extreme. it is a accomplishment. Good thoughts though...

Ragdoll physics will be very challenging in Alice.I will totaly try the game when you release it.Good luck!

Do this, and let us tackle whatever resident evil (pun intended) you may unleash upon us!
