I want to read books about US history, but I have no idea where to start. I'm looking for a book, or books, about the Civil War, the Presidents (John Adams, Lincoln, Roosevelt, JFK and Nixon to be exact), the Cold War, the Western Days and history in general. If anybody could give me some titles, that would be great.

I am sorry to disappoint you, but this forum is more for computer-related discussion, and not so much history-related discussion. Your best bet would be to try to find a forum that has a bunch of people who like talking about history.
