Default Problems with a shooter - 12-13-2008, 07:25 PM

Hey guys I know that shooters are not much of what Alice was intended for, and maybe I'm using this software beyond its scope, but here's a problem I'm having.

I am trying to create a real time first person shooter type of scenario. When I have five objects in a list, I can create an event handler to check to see if they are clicked and cause a reaction. That works fine. As soon as I add animation (have the objects start moving) There are problems, and I cannot get feedback on which specific object is being clicked, it's like it doesn't recognize that a mouse click happened.

I will attempt to attach the malfunctioning code. (if it is malfunctioning.. again, this may be beyond the intent of the software )

I know this world isn't complete, I kind of abandoned it since I couldn't get the logic on the targeting to work properly.

Any Help would be appreciated.

Try my First person shooters and see if they help. I know like everything about making FPS games on Alice, so you can ask me. These are my 2 best out of like 15
