Default Using Alice Models In A Different Animating Program? - 05-12-2010, 12:59 PM

Is it possible to use Alice's Model in a different animating program?
I'm sick of using Alice to make animations, that's how I see Alice,an animating program, not a program that teach you how to code....

so is it possible to use alice's model in programs like flash? to animate?

Understandable.

I've tried saving objects from the gallery as classes, then unzipping them, but I've only gotten two geometry files, indices.bin and vertices.bin out of it. It looks to me like Alice makes the models based on an indexed triangle array made from those two files. Unfortunately, the two files seem to be encrypted somehow, so I doubt there's an easy way to import those models into any other programs. Sorry.

Well that depends on how in depth you go. For example, I was able to make a functional and entertaining game using Alice, and recently others have done so as well. We wouldn't be able to do that if Alice wasn't able to code properly.
