Help with a scoreboard

What would the simplest way of keeping score be, and displaying it?

Every time I hit an object A, the score gets increased by 1.

Everytime I hit an object B, the score gets decreased by 1.

I too need help with this so if anyone is out there please reply before the end of Tues Dec 14.
I can get the driver to say the score but I want the text on my score board to be updated. I have been wrestling with this for a week now off and on. Today I have a headache which means very little patience. So...please send forth your knowledge:0
