I used the camera to 'Get a good look at' (camera method) a certain Object. Is there a method to get back to the exact camera position you were in before you 'get a good look at' the object because when you 'get a good look' at something, the camera stays there.
Is there a way to get back at the exact camera position you were in before you 'got a good look' at something?
I know its probably a no brainer for some people, but I just started Alice

Actually, there is no obvious option to recover from "get a good look at" (which is why I practically never use it).
If you're not using this method at runtime, then a simple press of "Undo" will suffice.
During runtime, I think your best bet may be to
1. Have a dummy set its point of view to the camera in 0 seconds
2. Camera get a good look at whatever
3. Camera set point of view to dummy

What is interesting, though, is the fact that whenever you add an object, the camera will take a (good) look at the object, and then return to its original position. I think this has to do with the camera's point of view variable (found under the properties tab). However, Alice doesn't support position and quaternion very well, so I'm not sure it could be achieved at runtime.

There isn't really a method To doing that but you can add a dummy object on your camera's position you want to come back to then simply when you want to move back drag and drop your dummy object into your camera's position setting.

You could also just click undo. Since I only use that method to make sure an object looks right from an orthographic view, thats what I do.
