Default Alice on an OLPC XO - 03-02-2008, 07:56 PM

Our city is buying about 15,000 XOs for school children.

Of course, it woudl be great to run Alice on these, but I am afraid the XOs may not be powerful enough.

My XO has not yet arrived. Just checking to see if anyone has tried this, or if there are obvious reasons why it won't work on a Linux version of Alice.

I am a big fan of the XO laptop.

Sadly, I believe Alice will have trouble running on the XO since it requires Java and 3D graphics.
