So you downloaded and installed 7-zip then? If you did that, you should now be able to right-click the .rar file and extract it into a folder.

That's what you need to do, the .rar file is a compression file, like .zips.

for some reason when I try to extract it from the .rar it says "Not implemented" and won't do it.
if i try to run it it says "could not load" and opens this one file that ive never seen before and if I click "Show details" than it shows

InitData:Hey this type is not programmed (0)
InitData: error
--- Loading file [c:\Log.txt] ---
LoadFile:Sorry. Filetype not supported.

as the details of the file

Alright, so here's what you need to do to make this work right. If you did this exactly, then there's something else wrong and we'll have to think of something else.

1. Download the 7-zip installer .exe file (assuming you have Windows) and the Biturn .rar file.

2. Double-click the 7-zip .exe file and follow the installation instructions.

3. With 7-zip newly installed (it should only take a minute, 7-zip is tiny), you should now get one extra option (near the top) when you right click on files: "7-zip." By hovering over the 7-zip option, you should open another menu which has an "Extract to [name of file]" option. Right-click the .rar file and click the "Extract to Biturn 0.88" option

4. A window with a loading bar should popup and fill in a few seconds, leaving a folder next to the .rar file with the same name. Inside the folder is the .exe file (it has a colorful arrow as its icon). Double click the icon to run Biturn.

That's it. None of the programs or processes used are large or processor-intensive, so most if not all computers should be able to perform accomplish this. If yours can't then something is wrong with either your ability to download from the internet (it's happened to me as well, try adjusting your internet options if this happens) or your ability to install software (should only happen if your on a computer in which you aren't the administrator).

No it's not, and he's already got Biturn open and running, so there's no need to change his file-unzipper at this point anyway.

Zack Strife, .dae files aren't recognized by Biturn because Biturn hasn't been updated in years and Sketchup is a relatively new software. You have to save your object as a more recognizable filetype, like .3ds or .obj, or you need to convert the .dae file to a .obj file with Blender (like my sticky in the How Di I...? forum says) and then use Biturn to convert it to a .ase file.
