Ah. At last! I reached my goal of 1,000 posts before the end of 2011! I tried to avoid spamming on the way here, but it wasn't easy! I think that from here I will go for 1,500 posts before 2011 is over, but I don't care if I am not successful. I will celebrate with a new avatar! (Well, not really with a new avatar, but with a modified version of my current avatar!) I will release it on this thread as my 1,001st post when I am done working on it! Until then, I am going to use the below image as my avatar.

When I first read it, it sounded like 'David B's 1000th Birthday!' Had to re-read it for a moment. Man you must do a lot on here to get 1000 posts in one year or so. (You did join on dec 2010 right? )

I have slowed down since I signed up, but I am still relatively active. And yes, I joined Dec 2010.

As promised, my 1,001st post describes my avatar of celebration. Now, as you may recall, I said that I would "modify" my current avatar, but that is not quite what happened. I ended up finding a better earth clipart image that I like better, so I am using it instead. Here is what my new avatar looks like.:

My new avatar features the earth (just as before, but a different one), and in front of it, I have made a banner-like effect that says, "1,000 Posts & Counting."

Now, the big question on everyone's mind is probably, "What's next after this avatar?" That is a question that even I cannot yet answer. I will cross that bridge when I get to it, but for now, just take the time to enjoy my new avatar.

I know. The reading thing was an issue that I realized after it was too late. Oh well. And yes, I know it isn't about the posts, but I am just excited that after being a member for only 9 months, I already have 1,000 posts (1,007 to be exact.)!
