Question Video Gaming - 05-12-2010, 04:59 PM

I need to make and interactive video game Role Playing Game for a class challenge. However, I cannot stop the player from walking through objects. I could use some help.

Its called collision detection. It depends on what the objects are that you want to stop from colliding into. If they are mostly just people, or things that are not walls, then it is a simple If statement with all of the objects in a list.

If you want you can upload the world and I can see if I can put a collision detection in for you. If there are more than 50 objects though then I don't know if I will do it for you.

Check out my best projects so far and please comment:

Dameria is someone to trust, my games also don't have collision detection (Only Once) It's annoying but I would give it to Dameria
