Fan Made LEGO Game.

Ok, so I wanted to make a game, but I needed something simple to animate (a person would be too hard for a first try). What does anyone think of a fan made LEGO game? I was thinking along the lines of LEGO KINGDOMS or something like that. Any thoughts?

NOTE: Would be made with Blender.
