Fascinated with armor lock, eh? Seems less useful than active camo or jetpack, in my opinion. More fun to animate though, for sure.

It's useful if used at the right time.

Active camo would also be a cool effect in Alice. If you had a grass-textured ground (the default), you would set the texture of the object to that, and lower its opacity.
Also looks pretty cool, IMO.
