OK, not too sure what I'm doing in the future, but great to have your services for when I need them, thanks

Hey Arty, if you wanted graphic design work for whatever you are doing in the future, you can contact me. :)

Hey arty, I was wondering if you would like to be involved in a new project I am going to be starting. You have probably heard of Minecraft and I thought it was time to make a multiplayer plugin. It will be an economy system which uses a stock market and players being vendors. Everything will be in Java. If you are interested, just send me a PM.

I still think PHP tends to be the standard that most people use, but Python is widely used and it doesn't hurt to have multiple languages under your belt (maybe I should learn PHP now).
Sources?? The way I learnt I suppose was through Google and trial and error. The websites I tend to use most are:
http://docs.python.org/tutorial/
http://www.python.org/doc/
http://diveintopython.org/
If you know Java (I dont know if you do) then Python shouldn't be too hard to learn - its very similar, basically the same except all the unnecessary parts are stripped away and simplified.
Hope that helps :) .

Do you know any good online sources where I could learn Python? Suddenly I am interested.
-
That is shocking, I thought PHP was the standard for everything.

Really? Google uses python for most things. YouTube and Google Code are written in Python and most of their internal Sys and Admin are written in Python. They use Java and JavaScript for applications, but Python and some C++ does most of the rest.
Python is a widely used language for websites. As long as a server can run it then you can use it.

I have never even heard of people using Python for websites.
