I have looked at the models that you have made from Nintendo games, and I am very impressed. I have been using Alice for a long time now, and had wanted to make some animations and (possibly, if I'm brave enough) games, but I had no experience with modding. I like the model you have of Link most of all because it looks so much like the one from the Ocarina of Time Link. I also love your avatar. I was wondering if you might think about making any other models from Zelda, and very much like the one you made, and also the Mario one. Also, why did you choose sfunk as your username?

I have looked at some of your youtube video's they are very good. I have a question for you, on one of exercises in Alice 2.2 change for a dollar game. I created the world and added 2 persons. I am supposed to create the game with the game host giving me amounts of money to equal $1.00. If i get it right i get a congratulation. I]m somewhat lost with parameters and the functions, while etc. If you could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.

I tried using an if/then statement for a collision method with the baseball and and a specific enemy (mummy). I put this into (while the world is running) event into the during option. I plan to use this method for all the different enemies.

infinite loop
if ((baseball) is within (1meter) of (mummy)
do (world.mummydeath)





this method has not worked work in my world. PLEASE HELP!

I have a question about my game. In the game you control a cowboy with the arrowkeys and the camera with the wasd keys. You can shoot a baseball out of the rifle that the cowboy is holding by typing E. The baseball moves foward 100 meters (0.0001 seconds) and then moves backward 100 meters (0.0001 seconds) into the barrel of the rifle. There are a few enemies (mummy, anubis, ranger, samurai) that have a health counter. I have tried to use the shooting mechanism to lower the health of the enemies instead of just clicking on them with the mouse. the enemies have a chase method where they follow the cowboy if he is within a certain distance. This method actually works though. The collision method with the baseball and the enemies isnt working. If you could help in any way that would be great!

Hello Mr. Funk:

I am guessing that if anyone can help me with this you can. It is an issue with arrays in a game I am using.

The post and the file are in the "How do I...?" forum. It's subject heading is: "Help. Overly complicated game using arrays: bugs". I would appreciate it if you could look at it. Your tutorials have helped me a lot, so I am guessing you might know how to simplify the program. It's a catch the torus with a cone using a mouse event to move the cone. It's pretty well explained in the post.
