Is it possible to get some ballpark figures for Alice 3.0’s system requirements/recommendations?

My school will be asking me for recommendations about our computer lab upgrade next year, and if I am going to need to sell them on the idea of buying mid-range graphics cards and 2G ram, I would like some time to get them used to the idea. They are great about getting me what I need, they just like some time to think about it.

I understand it’s really hard to give an intelligent guess about specs before it's done, but some ballpark ideas would be great.

BTW I know 3.0 may not be ready for Fall '08, but we only do major upgrades every three years.
